CoreLayerEngine builds vertical video in its reel studio — scenes, headlines, captions, a real MP4 — and uploads it to your channel with the official YouTube Data API v3. Title and description are written from the caption; you approve before anything goes live.
One thing that is not live yet: both scopes this needs are sensitive under Google's OAuth policy, so uploads to a channel our own business does not own wait on Google's verification of the app, and it has not been granted. Until it is, the Short is still built, titled, described and scheduled — you export the finished MP4 from the queue and upload it yourself. The day verification lands, the same queue starts uploading on its own.
Do I have to film anything?
No, though you can. The engine can build the Short itself, or upload one you already have.

The adapter is built against the official YouTube Data API v3 and uses the resumable upload protocol against your connected channel, but both scopes are sensitive under Google's OAuth policy: the app needs OAuth verification, and raising the default quota needs a YouTube API Services Compliance Audit. Until those clear, an approved video waits as a finished draft in your queue, scheduled, and you upload it in one tap.

The reel studio builds scene-based vertical video with AI headlines and captions and exports a real MP4, optionally with a synthetic AI presenter, and you can point a post at an MP4 you already have. Until OAuth verification clears, publishing is the half you do: the finished video waits as a draft in your queue and you upload it in one tap.
How does it know to publish a Short rather than a normal video?+
A Short is simply a vertical video up to three minutes. The engine appends #Shorts to the description when it is missing, which is YouTube's documented hint, and the reel studio produces vertical output by default — so the draft that waits in your queue until OAuth verification clears is already tagged correctly for the one-tap upload.
Who writes the title and description?+
The engine, from the caption you approved. The first line becomes the title within YouTube's 100-character limit and the caption becomes the description. Both are editable before approval, like any other copy.
How many videos can I make?+
Video quotas scale by plan, starting at one a month on the Forever Free plan. A video you bring yourself still counts as a post, but not against the video-generation quota — and until OAuth verification clears, it waits as a draft you upload in one tap like any other.
