Threads rewards showing up. Automate the showing up.
CoreLayerEngine is built against Meta’s official Threads API — text, image and video posts, and native multi-part threads chained with reply_to_id. The engine drafts and schedules; you approve.
How does Threads publishing work?
The same two-step container model as Instagram, because Threads uses the same Meta plumbing. Media is processed asynchronously; the engine waits for it, so a post never goes out half-built.
Text posts
A text container is created and published immediately — no processing wait. Drafts are written to the 500-character budget Threads allows, which is roughly double X, so the copy is genuinely different, not a re-post.
Image and video posts
Images and video are uploaded first, and the engine waits until Meta has finished processing them before it publishes. If processing fails or runs out of time, the run stops with the reason instead of publishing an empty post.
Native multi-part threads
reply_to_id — Threads' own native reply chain. Per-channel limits are respected automatically, so the same idea becomes a 500-character chain here and a 280-character chain on X, written for each. One approval queue, every network
Frequently asked questions
Can CoreLayerEngine post to Threads automatically?+
Each approved post or chain comes to you finished — written to Threads' own budget, slotted for your audience — and you post it in one tap from your phone.
Does it post native Threads chains, or separate posts?+
Native chains. Each part after the first carries reply_to_id pointing at the part before it, which is Threads' own reply-chain mechanism, so readers see one connected thread rather than a burst of unrelated posts. The chain arrives in your post kit in order, ready to send.
Is the copy just my X post reposted?+
No. Threads allows about 500 characters against X's 280, and the engine writes to each channel's budget separately. The same idea becomes different copy per network, in your brand voice, in any of 40 languages.
What happens if an image fails to process?+
The engine waits until Meta has finished processing the image. If Meta reports an error, or processing takes too long, the run stops and records why. It never sends a post whose media was not ready.
Do I need a separate Threads login?+
You connect Threads once through OAuth from Settings → Channels, the same as any other network. After that the token is stored per workspace and refreshed automatically; you are told before it expires.
